FWPD search for suspect in Sherman Blvd shooting

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Fort Wayne police are investigating after a shooting off Sherman Boulevard Wednesday morning. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Sherman just before 7 a.m. on reports of the possible shooting.
One victim was reportedly taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Officers shut down Sherman between State and Goshen for the initial investigation but the road was re-opened a short time later.
Police units remained on the scene, searching for a suspect for hours following the call.

They have not released any information yet about who may be responsible or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
