Embassy Theatre announces third annual Spring Forward Fest

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Embassy Theatre announced the third annual Spring Forward Fest, multi-venue art and cultural event in downtown Fort Wayne from March 12-14.

This free, family-friendly festival celebrates the community’s Daylight Saving Time change and welcomes the promise of spring.

This year, it will be celebrated the full weekend of March 12 in order to spread out attendance during the pandemic, encourage social distancing and other Department of Health guidelines and allow more flexibility for the community to attend.

The following was issued by the Embassy about the event:

“Attendees are encouraged to walk between six venues to take in the beauty and fun of downtown Fort Wayne: Embassy Theatre, Botanical Conservatory, Parkview Field, Promenade Park, The Landing and The Bradley. See the walking map at the end of this release provided by Visit Fort Wayne (and also accessible here).

Embassy Theatre March 13, 6-9 p.m., three 45-minute sets Multi award-winning singer/songwriter Michael Jacobs will create a compelling musical blend of roots rock and folk. Enjoy incredible views from the Parkview Health rooftop patio, weather permitting. Cash bar available. Trivia and scavenger hunt in Indiana Hotel lobby. Lighted wrist bands, while supplies last. TICKET REQUIRED.

Botanical Conservatory March 12-13, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; March 14, 12-4 p.m. Soak up bright island fun as part of “The Tiki Bowl” play garden, and discover smells of spring as you locate the latest Sniff List. Also, enjoy a colorful window display in the Botanical Connector accessible from the Embassy Theatre’s skywalk bridge.

Parkview Field March 13, 6-9 p.m. Parkview Field will be highlighting 2021 TinCaps baseball and displaying the beautiful Parkview Field. Limited Concessions and bar available. TinCaps trivia every half hour with prizes. Event will be located indoors in the 2nd floor area called the Suite Level Lounge. Video board and televisions will be running with TinCaps highlights with music playing on the concourse. Free parking in the Silver Parking Lot located off of Brackenridge and Ewing Street.

Promenade Park March 12, 8 p.m.-March 14, 11 p.m. Promenade Park will be glowing in various colors throughout the weekend.”
