Everything You Need to Know About Britney Spears’ Court Statement

BRITNEY SPEARS asked a court to end her conservatorship yesterday.  In a 20-minute statement, she said she felt traumatized and abused by the people running it.  And, not surprisingly, she said she wants it to END.

She made it sound like the last 13 years have been PURE HELL, and her dad, JAMIE SPEARS, is apparently the main culprit.

Britney said she’s been paying him and others to basically control her every move, from making her perform when she doesn’t want to, to forcing her into therapy programs she doesn’t want, and restricting access to her own kids if she doesn’t comply.

Speaking of kids, she’d like to have another one with her boyfriend, but she’s not even allowed to do that.

She said, quote, “I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby, I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don’t get pregnant.  I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby.  But this so-called team won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”

Britney outright said her dad should be in JAIL for what he’s done to her, and her family didn’t help.  In fact, she thinks they’ll probably oppose ending the conservatorship because they’ve been living off of it.

Britney admitted she has LIED in the past when she’s told the public that she’s okay and happy.  She added, quote, “I’ve been in denial.  I’ve been in shock.  I am traumatized . . . But now I’m telling you the truth.  Okay?

“I’m not happy.  I can’t sleep.  I’m so angry.  It’s insane.  And I’m depressed.  I cry every day.”

Britney said she wants the conservatorship scrapped WITHOUT having to undergo an evaluation . . . quote, “[I’ve met with] enough people against my will, I’m done.  All I want is to own my money, for this to end, and my boyfriend to drive me in his [effing] car.

“And I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you.”

Meanwhile, JAMIE SPEARS responded to the BOMBS his daughter BRITNEY dropped during her statement to the court yesterday.  But he didn’t say much.

His lawyer read a statement to the court saying, quote, “Mr. Spears is sorry to see his daughter suffering and in so much pain.  Mr. Spears loves his daughter and misses her very much.”

Yesterday’s testimony set off a new wave of #FreeBritney hysteria.  Even JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE got into the act.  He said, quote, “We should all be supporting Britney at this time.

He added that “No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body,” and said that he and his wife JESSICA BIEL send their love and support.

She also got love from Halsey, Courtney Love, Mariah Carey, Brandy, Tinashe, Rose McGowan, Cher, Meghan McCain, Sarah Jessica Parker, and more.
