INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – A former surgeon general is convinced the nation is going backward in the pandemic. Jerome Adams tweeted that after speaking on CBS on Sunday.
He feels coronavirus is spiraling out of control again and blames those who haven’t been vaccinated.
He says the more contagious delta variant will likely cause the fourth outbreak, warning that will trigger new restrictions such as lockdowns and virtual learning.
“More mitigation is coming, whether it is masking or closures or whether it is your kids having to return to virtual learning," @JeromeAdamsMD says. “It is coming because this pandemic is spiraling out of control yet again…because we don't have enough people vaccinated.” pic.twitter.com/zKHG1qlMIo
