INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The woman in charge of Indiana’s schools says promises are promises, but cash is king.
Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick said the promise from Governor Eric Holcomb to pay teachers more next year is ‘disappointing.’
McCormick says the promise is based on the idea that $115 million dollars will be available. She says if state revenues dip, then teachers won’t get anything.
