Medical episode caused Tuesday crash on I-69 in DeKalb County

DEKALB CO. Ind. (ADAMS) – Police in DeKalb County say two men were hospitalized following a crash around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Guy Shatto was driving a Ford Econoline southbound on I-69 at the 323 mile marker when it left the roadway and ran over the median. According to the report, the Ford hit the cable barrier and continued to hit the cable barrier for approximately 200 feet. It is believed that Shatto was having a medical emergency.
The passenger, 46-year-old David Landin was experiencing back pain. Both Landin and Shatto were taken by ambulance to a local hospital. There is no word on their conditions at this time.
