FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – There are few answers about one Fort Wayne-area school superintendent who remains at home.
Northwest Allen County Schools yesterday hired a new, interim superintendent to take over for Chris Himsel. He’s been on leave since the beginning of January.
District leaders will only say it’s a personal matter. Himsel told WANE-TV that he’s dealing with a health issue. He was supposed to return to work yesterday – but that didn’t happen.
Northwest Allen County Schools have hired Steve Yager, to fill in. Yager was previously superintendent for both NACS and Southwest Allen County Schools.
