INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The pause on evictions, foreclosures, and utility shut-offs has been extended in Indiana.
Governor Eric Holcomb signed an executive order yesterday extending the pause until July 1st. That means anyone who cannot pay their rent will be able to stay in their homes.
An exception does let landlords file for emergency evictions beginning today — which would only be for permit evictions with an immediate and serious injury, loss, or damage to the property.
