SCPCA highlights 2019 ‘Pawject Runway’

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – Tickets are now available for the Allen County SPCA’s 5th Annual Pawject Runway, an exciting red carpet event to be held at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 6 PM.

Pawject Runway features the creative talents of groomers from all over the tri-state area as they transform dogs into works of art and compete for top prizes. While competitors work the runway, attendees will enjoy photo ops from the “puparazzi,” silent auction, hor d’oeuvres, cash bar, and more.

“This is such a fun event, and it’s the only one of its kind in Fort Wayne,” said Allen County SPCA Executive Director Jessica Henry. “It allows groomers to showcase their skills and pet lovers to support a great cause. If you’ve never seen creative grooming in action, prepare to be wowed! These dogs really do get transformed into works of art.”

New for 2019:
New Location: Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center
New Seating & Runway Design: Tables seat 6 with a fantastic view of a larger, newly designed runway
New Judges: Cindy Oliver, Scott Wasserman, Fran Gull, & Sandy Blackburn

All proceeds will benefit homeless pets at the Allen County SPCA, especially the Angel Fund, which helps to provide medical treatment for shelter pets experiencing severe illness or injury.

The event is expected to sell out quickly. Tickets are available now at Prices range from $50 to $150 and include various perks such as front row seating and complimentary drinks.
