INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – The Satanic Temple is filing a lawsuit against Indiana’s governor and attorney general over the state’s abortion ban.
The suit claims the new law banning nearly all abortions in the state violates the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
The association’s lawsuit aims to stop the enforcement of the ban for women who are members of the Satanic Temple and are seeking an abortion. This comes after a judge issued a preliminary injunction last week, putting the ban on hold- something Attorney General Todd Rokita is appealing.
