TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (ADAMS) – A trial date is set for an Indiana man indicted for the shooting of a Terre Haute police detective.
Shane Meehan is accused of killing Officer Gregory Ferency in July of 2021.
He’s facing a slew of charges at the trial that starts March 28th, including the murder of a federal officer and attempted arson. Meehan faces up to life in prison or death.
